Are my recordings and chapters safely secured?

We choose to be governed by EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) which is widely considered the strictest data privacy law globally. This means you have the rights to your personal data. You are the data controller, and we, with your consent, act as a data processor. This means you have controller rights recording your recording and writing data. We also abide by country and regional data residency guidelines, ensuring it never leaves the region it’s not meant to.

What happens after 52 weeks from purchase?

You have 1 month to print the book and download the storytelling videos for your safekeeping. So long as you have an active capsule for your account, we will keep the content of all your capsules (videos and stories).

If you need more time to prepare the book, we recommend purchasing another capsule — you can always record more stories!

What languages do you support

Our advanced speech-to-text can understand and write in English, Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese (Mandarin), French, Japanese, German, Italian, Ukrainian, Dutch. You can speak in 1 or more of these languages within the same recording and we’ll be able to understand it - no problem!

During the recordings, the personalised questions will be presented in English.

You can choose as of the above languages for the writing.

What if I don’t like the experience?

Firstly, thank you for trying us out. It would mean the world to us if you let us know the difficulties or challenges you faced by emailing us on contact@tenmore.app with subject “Feedback”. We’re constantly improving the experience and aim to be as inclusive as possible.

If you are within the 14-day window from purchase and you’ve not shipping the book, we’ll be able to refund the purchase, if you choose.

Recordings

I want to record myself speaking without a loved one as an interviewer. Can I do that?

You can 100% do that! We’ve designed this experience for solo storytellers, joint storytellers, or a storyteller with someone there to prompt and support.

I ran out of question prompts. What should I do?

If you've enjoyed the experience and would like to carry on recording more stories, we recommend purchasing another capsule which will give you 52 more recording sessions, another year of recording and editing as well as another book credit!

How long is each storytelling recording video call?

Each recording can be up to 30 minutes long.

Editing

How long does each chapter take to be written?

It can take up to 72 hours for a recording to be processed and chapter to be written. We’ll send you an email when the chapter is ready for your review. We’re working around the clock to get this to you as soon as we can!

Can my writing be in multiple languages?

Before starting your first recording, you will be asked to choose one of the languages we support you want your biography writing to be in. After the chapter has been written, you are able to add any other languages to it as you edit the writing.

I ran out of pages. What should I do?

Each book is limited to 450 pages so as to keep the quality of the book.

You can choose to purchase another capsule which will allow you to move stories from the first book to the new book, and will also give you the opportunity to record more stories — a second volume if I may!

I need more time to do the editing

You have up to 52 weeks since purchase of the book to do the editing. You don’t have to do it as soon as the chapter is ready.

What we find is that it’s easier to edit before you begin recording the next set of stories. This allows frees up a back log of editing you have to do at the end, and your memory of the stories are still fresh!

Publishing, Shipping & Delivery

What’s fixed and what’s customisable in my book?

The book is fixed as A5 sized (148mm x 210mm) with a matt-laminated hardcover. It can have up to 450 pages, with minimum 24 pages. You can choose which cover, spine and back you like to have, out of our expertly designed book covers. From there you can edit the wording, author(s) name or add a book subtitle (cover permitting) as well.

You can edit all writings within the book, and add a photo for each chapter as well.

I want to order multiple books. What should I do?

You can order multiple books once you’re ready to publish and ship the book.

Can I expedite the printing and shipping?

As we’re subjected to the availability of printers of our partners, we’re unable to expedite the printing. Please allow for 21 days to print and ship your custom biography book. We will try to get it to you as soon as we can!
